Flat Rice Noodles

A homemade flat rice noodles with only 4 ingredient and a step-by-step guide to follow.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g rice flour
  • 50 g tapioca starch
  • 300 ml water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Equipment

  • Cutting board
  • Plates ( 2-3 plates )
  • Oil brush
  • Spatula

Method
 

Mixing the batter:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix the rice flour, tapioca starch and gradually pour in the water then stir until the mixture is well combined.
Cooking:
  1. In a steamer, bring the water to a boil and lower the heat to medium.
  2. Place a plate and brush with vegetable oil. Pour in the right amount of batter and spread evenly to make a thing layer. Cover and cook 4-5 minutes and take it out. Wait until warm then start rolling or remove from the plate.
  3. Place another plate in and follow the steps until finish all the batter.
  4. While rolling, use more oil if the noodle is sticky. Use a scissors to cut.
  5. Or stack the noodles over each other, brush some oil in between the layers, then use a cutting knife to cut into long strips. Separate the stacked cut noodles and ready for stir-fry or noodles soup.
  6. Or set aside until ready to use or store in an airtight container and refrigerate.
