Beef Lok Lak Rice Bowl,
Bai Lok Lak is a tasty, easy-to-make dish, served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Pan-fry the beef in the marinating sauce and serve with fresh salad or lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and fried eggs. It’s always eaten with a ground black pepper lime sauce.
Beef marination in oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt, ground pepper, fish sauce, chicken soup base mix (optional), and Yes! I add ketchup to this recipe to add the sweet but a little bit sour from the sauce and thicken the stir-fry to have a thick gravy texture.

Normally, Lok Lak is served with white rice, but I’d like to make this meal a special treat by infusing it with the aroma of stir-fried white rice with fried minced garlic and Lok Lak sauce.

Pepper lime sauce is a must-have sauce for serving with Lok Lak. Because we have rice, you may not be questioning why we need this sauce when it already has a strong flavour.
