- Then continue add lukewarm water, lukewarm milk, yeast mixture, vanilla extract, stir using spatula until the lumps disappeared ( Or use hand mixer ) until the batter becomes smooth.
- Cover the batter with plastic wrap, let it rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, stir the batter until it comes together then transfer into a pastry bag and cut the end of the bag to make a small hole.
- In a medium sized frying pan, turn the heat to medium. Then pour vegetable oil in and heat until hot or until reaches 160ºC | 320ºF.
- Carefully drop the batter from the pastry bag, use scissors to cut it (you can use spoon or hand to work with the batter), we found that this way is easier. Try not to overcrowd the pan.
- While frying, use a slotted spoon to push the balls into the oil (or use chopsticks to flip) and deep-fry until golden brown. Place the donuts on the cooling rack or paper towel, and continue until finish all the batter.
- Serve with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon.
