In less than 30 minutes, you can have this soup on the table. It’s cooked with fresh veggies and herbs, a hard-boiled egg, and dried fish or fish jerky, which is a must-have ingredient.

Ingredients: homemade fish jerky, hard boiled eggs, tomato, shallot, green mango (for sourness), cucumber, lime (for extra sourness), basil, water, fish sauce, salt, sugar, and chicken soup base mix (optional).

- Let's prepare the vegetables by rinse them well with water and thinly slice the tomato, peel a green mango skin and shred using a shredder, peel the cucumber skin and thinly slice, cut lime in half, thinly slice a shallot.
- Cut the hard-boiled egg into 4 equal pieces.
- Break the dried fish into bite-sized pieces with your hands or any other utensils available.
- Once all the ingredients are prepared, put them all in a large soup bowl and let's prepare the broth.
- In a medium pot, turn the heat to high and bring the water to a boil, add fish sauce, chicken soup base mix, salt, sugar, and bring to a boil.
- Once it's boiling, turn the heat off and pour directly into the prepared ingredients soup bowl. Serve with rice!
